Default Ohio Bike Week 2019- who's going and what's good?

Hey everyone,

So myself and a few friends are planning to leave Toronto this Friday morning to get into Ohio for Ohio Bike week. We have hotels booked, but have until tomorrow afternoon to cancel (hoping the forecast changes, doesnt look good so far).

We are staying until Sunday at which time we are heading back home. I've been on the website, and there seems to be some cool stuff to do (I am a queensryche fan, so that concert seems cool, as do the downtown ones).

Wondering from those who have been what stuff is worth checking out? Some vendors, drinking, eating, and partying are what we are looking to do, plus any other cool attractions worth checking out. I've been busy working on one of my bikes so I havent done much research, so any input is appreciated!

I live in Sandusky, and they're getting ready for Bike Week now. Lots of things to see and do. Here's a link to the complete schedule:

Yea I've been on the website, just wondering from those who have gone what is and isnt worth checking out since there is a lot on the schedule.

Also, what is your most trusted weather source over there for the forecast?

Sorry, but Ohio and Bike Week just don’t seem like things that go together to me. What are they going to do for entertainment, have a most rusted car contest?

But then , Cedar Point, home of some of the most exciting roller coasters is right there. Nothing like a bunch of old drunk bikers riding a high speed roller coaster upside down.

I was going to go but the weather forecast sucks as usual. I got my *** soaked (hailed on) coming home Sunday from the Blessing in Baldwin. I'm over this crap.

IMHO, living in Sandusky, and knowing the weather here is greatly affected by the lake, if the wind is blowing off the lake, it will be 20 degrees COLDER than the temps 20 miles to the south of here. I've been in low 80 degree temps 30 miles south of Sandusky, and ridden home to find it 52 degrees here. I have no idea why they hold Bike Week in late May/early June. The weather is always cool and rainy that time of year here. Not looking good for the coming week either. Temps will be OK (70-80), but chance of rain EVERY day. You'd think someone would wise up.
