Why did HD discontinue the Flame Collection?
I still have pieces I need to buy for the FLHTC. Why did HD discontinue the "Flames" collection? Is there NOS Flames collection items out there somewhere?

'bout all you can do is search eBay and hope to come up with what you want.
Somebody posted this a few months back;
Al Muth has a remote warehouse full of old parts.
Could look for dealer sites that have a toll free number and give them a call...

No way bro. Just my outlook. Best of luck finding that which you seek. Plenty out there on eBay and the like.

I'm surprised they still make "Live to Ride" & "Willie G" crap. I mean...does anyone really buy that junk anymore?
At least flames wasn't so hokey...OK maybe just a little.

My bike came with some Willie G skull stuff from the previous owner. I replaced it and posted the stuff for sale on here and it sold in under an hour. Maybe I priced it too low, but some people really like it I guess.

My PO had the flames fuel cover installed and had the derby cover an timing cover, but had never put them on. When I tried, I figured out why; the derby cover didn't have the o-ring groove, so I had to order a gasket. I kind of like it all. It adds a touch of personalization that isn't as expensive as painting and can be swapped out if I decide I want a different look later on. I'm not really a black-street-glide-guy. I like my bike to be a touch different from everybody else's. Who knows, I may be sitting on some cash if I take them off.

The same reason anybody cancels anything, it ran its course and now people are looking for something different.
