Well ain’t that a kick in the shorts
Just got my tins back from paint day before yesterday. Started assembly and was really looking forward to some riding. I’ve been experiencing some dizziness from time to time this past week or so, didn’t think much of it. These episodes lasted maybe 20-30 minutes. Yesterday went to pick the tank up from local Indy who replaced fuel filter. Started feeling dizzy on way there. Driving home it was getting worse. Got home sat down and the room started spinning like mad. Lasted nearly 4 hours. I got what I considered violently ill. Ended up in ER, diagnosed with vertigo.
With all that said, for those that have or had vertigo, how long does this feeling last? Docs put me on Meclazine (sp?).
No riding for me for a while. What a kick in the shorts!

I'm sure not what you want to hear but, that might end your riding days. My mom, who at 85 years old is as healthy a human there is on the planet but, for the last 10 years or so has suffered from vertigo. Attacks can come out of the blue and last for a couple of days at times. No known cure, it does suck. She does have medicine that she can take if she feels a attack starting, but she says it's a crap shoot if it works or not. Sorry to hear this, it does suck.

I had one major bought, could not walk without help (or at least a wall) for a 2-3 days, after that major dizzy
Was off work for over a week.
Mine hit in the middle of the night, 100 times worse than the worst bed spins I had as a teenager after a major night of drinking.
When I get that feeling I go see my Doctor and so far it has always been an inner ear infection (or at least that prescription takes care of it).
