Strange thing seen at Redstone HD dealer
Never saw this ever before in my life.
Went into the dealership and there were six metric bikes on the showroom floor for sale.
Yes, they were used bikes.
Three Honda 700 cc adventure bikes
Two BMW adventure bikes and the other I forgot.
Is this a normal HD practice? I have never seen it before.

I cannot swear by it but I think I saw that only once. I suspect it was a trade-in. And it was in an area that was not "for sale" so I suspect they were just going to put it on the Internet and get rid of it.
Huh it will be interesting to see what others say.
Add'l Info:
I just spoke to a friend of mine who is a hard-core Harley rider and he has been in a bazillion dealership.
He said he has never seen a metric inside of a Harley store.

At one time...Harley Davidson motorcycles were often sold at dealerships that also carried Yamaha and others. I believe at some point, the HD mother company put some VERY specific requirements on their dealer network that eliminated that practice, among other stringent requirements. These are likely one-off resale bikes, not new bike offerings from a non-Harley brand.

I see it from time to time around here. Its usually a low mile, newer metric that someone traded in for an HD. There's one HD dealership near me that has a lot of metrics for sale on their web page but they don't put them in the showroom. If you want to see one you go to the dealership and they take you out to the warehouse out back where they keep them.
