I just bought my 2013 Fatboy a month ago. I knew I would get pennies on the dollar on my 2006 883 Sportster low as a trade in. So I didnt give the dealer a chance to give me a lowball offer. So I posted it on FaceBook Market Place for $3,700 (dealer list price) because I wasnt 100% sure if I wanted to sell it or not. Well, yesterday I caught a flat on my fatboy. I had the bug to ride so I pulled out the sporty. Those mini apes, 30" sissybars, carbuerated sound of ponies running, I just cant do it. Look like I'm keeping my 1st Harley.

 

Having 2 bikes is a definite plus

My Kaw Z1 900 i have owned 37 years and decided a long time ago she is a keeper. It has seen a few wives come and go and was around before my children were born.

the 71 Sportster i had in high school i sold shortly after boot camp and getting to my first duty station.

 

My first Harley was a new '88 Heritage. I took this hot nurse on a first date on that bike. I still have the bike. Oh, that hot nurse has been my wife for 28 years !

 

Traded my 1'st Harley in on my 2'nd Harley. First was a 89 Ultra, second was a 97 Road King.

 

I sold my first Harley in 1983.

 

sold my first to finance the second. 1995 1200 sporty for a 2000 Ultra.
