Default Road conditions in Illinois

I copied this and not me that seen it. But this is about a mile from me. This also happened on I 39 also. Sometimes it's better to let someone in front of you in a car go first and follow at a distance.

All of my motorcycle riding friends, please be aware of a buckle in the road at the beginning of the east bound 474 (towards Morton) ramp from Farmington road. I came upon a couple from Minnesota that was traveling towards Kentucky. It launched them into the ditch with their trailer. Luckily they are ok. Please be careful out there!

IL92 going east after loud thunder also has a massive buckle in the road that you can not tell is there. It will send you airborne. Luckily I had both hands on the bars.

The state of the roads in Illinois is just sad and going from brutally cold winters to scorching heat and humidity isn't helping the fact. All that tax money they have goes right to Chicago so any roads in rural illinios are in terrible shape.

We have some highways around mid-Michigan doing the same..... I-69 around Potterville to Olivet area has some buckling. I believe I heard I-96 heading towards Detroit has a spot or two. This does not surprise me as our roads have been shitty for years and these high temps/excessive rain/and humidity are raising hell.... then there is the ice/freeze/thaw we get the other half of the year....

I hate going to visit my Dad in MI due to the crappy roads. In my opinion they are very dangerous on a motorcycle. If the buckling doesnt get you the pot holes will. I do not even go far into MI, only Battle Creek

I lived in the People's Republic of Illinois for about 10 years. I lived around Springfield. Liked the people. Hated the state. One of the happiest days of my life was the day I moved away.
