I live in Texas. I'll take the heat.

I've ridden in as low as 12 F and as high as 100. Don't like either. I am most comfortable between about 45 and 85. Anything above or below that I just don't enjoy like I used to. Seems the older I get the more weather affects me. I can still function in any temperature, I'm just miserable if its too hot or cold.

Tired of the wet/damp cool (can't really call it cold).
Love the dry heat.

Hot. I don't like the cold and i don't really enjoy having to ride in a lot of layers. Only downside to the heat is that my Low Rider S cooks me if i have to stop.

This heat sucks ! I can layer up when it;s cold ,but you could strap a block of ice on your back in this heat and it' wouldn't help.

For me, it's all about the sun.

Good clear skies and bright sun and I can ride comfortably down I to the 40's.

Similarly, if it's hot out, but cloudy, riding well into the 90's is fine.

It's the cold and cloudy or hot and sunny days that get me.

Hot air, hot day, and can't get out of the congestion of hot cars because everyone and their mother is doing 45MPH in a 65MPH, pacing the other 2 cars clogging the middle and far right lanes? No thanks. Optimal for me is middle 60's to the upper 70's. 80's and above depends on the humidity, 95 and up? Yeah I don't wanna go outside let alone sit on top of the nice hot Harley engine.

Lowest I took my bike out though was around 9 degrees. Fixing a part on my old car and they gave me the wrong piece, couldn't start the car to go get it so jumped on the bike. Time I got back home I couldn't work on the car because I couldn't feel my fingertips anyway and that was with 3 layers of gloves on

When it's cold it snows. They put salt on the roads. So no riding for me. I have a heated jacket liner and heated gloves to extend the season. I'll ride up until the first snow.
I like riding in the warmer weather when you don't have to dress like an Eskimo.
