First Harley - what to buy!?
Hey guys! This is my first year riding (however I grew up riding dirt bikes my whole life so I’m pretty comfortable on two wheels). I currently ride a Suzuki savage 650, but I feel like I’m ready for something larger and more powerful. I’m a female, 5’9, 145lbs. I want a bike that I can ride around town on, but ALSO use for longer road trips. Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks
edit: I plan on going to a dealership and sitting on some bikes to see what feels good, but I would still appreciate any recommendations

At 5'9" (you are taller than me by an inch) you shouldn't have any problem reaching the ground on any Harley motorcycle currently made (I'm hedging my bet because of the Pan American adventure bike coming out in the next year).
I'm a fan of the Sportsters A 1200 Custom with windshield and saddle bags would be my suggestion, but the Heritage as recommended by others would be great for around town and longer trips. The Sport Glide, Road King, and of course all the touring bikes would all work as well. And really you can add saddle bags and a windshield to just about any Harley and if would work for your purposes. A used Switchback (no longer made) would also be great. The only ones I would say don't fit your needs are the Sportsters with the little peanut tank, Street Bob or Fat Bob (again little tank), and the FXDR 114 (difficult to mount bags)
So go to the dealer, sit on some bikes, take a few for a test ride and see which one speaks to you.
