Default Tomorrow's the big day...

Tomorrow 7/19 is the big day, the bike becomes my.... responsibility to fix if anything breaks. So far the bike has been 100% reliable, the only thing that's needed replacement has been the tires. Rear brake pads are getting close though. Something else I'll take care of at the 15,000 service.

Can't believe it's been two years and 13,572 miles.

Wait'll they flip the switch at the factory and things start breaking down and falling off so you'll want to trade it in on a new one!

When I bought my bike, it was a month away from coming off of warranty. I thought carefully about the pros and cons of having an extended warranty. I gambled and did not get one. Three years later the bike runs like new and I am glad that I have not incurred any major expenses.

That is the plan, I intend on riding until I'm no longer physically able. Turn 63 in December, hoping I have many years before that happens.

Extended warranties are just paying for a breakdown before it happens my 2010 ultra is 8 yrs out of warranty and running strong with regular service tires, and brakes.
