The point is I’m being told I’m SOL and can’t use the helmet until the end of August unless I buy pads myself which I did.
What I will do now is send them back the Pads I removed for the ones I need and I’ll just have an extra set.
It just made sense to me to me to be able to send back the Pads that came with the helmet for some kind of refund.
If thats asking too much oh well! So much for customer service...
Definitely does not make me self entitled??

Really sucks if that policy is advertised and not followed through on. If it was me I would be quite upset at Shoei, at their unfortunate situation of being out of stock, but more that now if you want to use your helmet before August.... costs you $60 for a month of poorly fitting wear. They should absolutely send you a free set when in stock to allow you to wear the helmet for now and still be able to adjust fit AS ADVERTISED. No entitlement at all to expect to be able to wear a $600 helmet as advertised. I wear a GT air II, will definitely think twice before another purchase. Shoot, maybe I can buy your cheek pads and fix this whole deal haha.
Usually they have already pre agreed on amounts and orders to distributors, it’s not like they can just grab a set for you from Revzilla. Sucky situation that could have easily been solved by better customer support.
I think twice before posting in the forum, pretty much for the reasons of the response you got. Inappropriate. Rude. Inconsiderate. Computer cowboys that are (entitled) to their opinions.

I cant stand self entitled people so you hit a sensitive area for me.
if you think it’s unreasonable I can deal with that you’re entitled to your opinion but saying I have a self entitled mindset to me is like calling someone a bitch in prison so that’s why my response was as extreme as it was.
As far as Internet badass talk that is what it... Real life who knows?? I just recommend packing a lunch.
