Default Chopper Event Teaches About Renewable Fuels

Chopper Event Teaches About Renewable Fuels - A steady stream of people got an eyeful of just how artistic a motorcycle can look, and also learned about renewable fuels at Adams Motor Company in Denison Tuesday.

http://www.brainbucketmag.com/News/a.../sid=2043.html

Also some info on the first E-85 fueled bike (or at least that's what OCC claims).

Thanks. Just got me a new site to check out. I seemed to be running out of stuff. You got anymore? Especially any dealing with baggers?

Not very often that we make the news here in Iowa !

Gonna go to a deal next weekend (hopefully) that the bike is supposed to be at - the bike being there has nothing to do with why I'm going. Mostly going to get out of work !

OCC did not have the first E85 bike. There were guys that converted their Hendersons to it over a year ago. mpg went down about 15%, but a ton more power was found.

Wonder what they are building their engines out of. Alcohol is extremely corrosive to metals normally found in regular engines.

Im all for renewable USA grown fuels. There are litterally MILLIONS of tons of plant matter thrown away after processing that could be used to produce fuels, in addition to crops specifically grown for this prupose.

If those Biodiesel boys can run off of old refined cooking oil, then I see no reason why E-85 cant be engineered as a new standard fuel and we could kiss our dependance on foreign oil goodbye!

One more indication that our government is run by politicians that only care about us during an election year. And I will leave it at that.

I'd like to see more info about that. If you can point me in the way of credible info, I'll be more than happy to look into it.
