Default What are these called?

What are these called, and what’s the best way to turn them gold? Vinyl wrap? Spray paint?

I call them push rod tubes but that may not be the proper description.

I have no idea as to how to get them in a gold color but keep in mind that there is a lot of heat in that area so I'd question if any type of wrap would endure for long.

Pushrod tubes is correct.

Turning them gold would probably best be done through electroplating.

Push rod tubes. Pull them out and have them powder coated or anodized.

Sure you want to do that? You have to pull off the cylinder heads to remove them on a 5 speed Sportster.

Go online and buy them. Try J&P Cycles , Drag Specialties or V-Twin Mfg. Shouldn't be hard to find gold pushrod tubes. They do look kind of cheap and gaudy when you get them on though.

It's not as bad as all that!

You can remove them via the little mounting blocks at the bottom.

Get a flathead - you won't have to mess with them.

Will they get too hot for powder? Cerakote or ceramic, but they wont be gloss.
