I just got a 2019 Heritage and want to add a horn to it, is 2.5 hrs really the amount of time it takes to install it?

I also want to add some Blue tooth speakers which I am being told that is a 2.5 hours process also. If I get them done at the same time, then the would do me a favor and do it at 4 hrs.

I don't want to attempt it myself or have someone else screw up the warranty.

A horn? 2.5 hours is nuts unless I’m missing something. I could see maybe 1 hr to take care of both horn and speakers.

Why don’t you do this simple task yourself?

you doing it, or having someone else do it will not screw up your warranty. granted, if there is a problem down the road and it can be traced back to the install, then yeah, that might have warranty implications. as it would in anything else you do. you break something installing it, it isn't going to be warranted.

now, explain this horn thing to me. your bike comes with a horn. are you changing out the horn cover for a more decorative one, or adding an air horn, or what?

New bike, what is wrong with your horn? Of all the mods for a new bike...

Bluetooth speakers...I mean, there is no wiring, right? Post up what speakers you are talking about. They just need secured, right?

I'm curious: ADD a horn? As of 2017 the horns on these bikes will absolutely wake the dead.

I would think the horn to be .25 instead of 2.5

Bring the bike and parts over to the house, I'll install them for nothing. Do yourself a favor and not rely on the dealer for ever thing.

The horn on a '19 Heritage, if the same as my '18 Heritage, is an absolutely horrible toot. A Wolo Air Horn can be added mounted on either side back near the saddlebag. If a dealer was to do the install, it would definately take a couple of hours as the wiring is a little bit of a PITA. However, this install is definately a DIY project, unless the OP is totally incapable of doing any kind of wrenching on a bike, don't know a thing about wiring and has a lot of money to **** away. Warenty would not be a concern unless as a result of the install some wiring got fried.

Installing Bluetooth speakers...huh? They just mount on the handlebar and get power through the USP port located on the frame left side in front of the tank. Again, MISTER or MISS OP, why couldn't you do that yourself. No warentee consern what so ever as you really can't screw up anything but maybe striping out a bolt head.

Just wondering, do you need somebody wash your bike for your too? Maybe you need somebody to ride it for you as well.

Sorry, this post is just wrong or we have another troll on our hands!

I put the Custom Dynamics horn on my Glide.... took me about half hour or less.... now sounds like the old deuce and a-half we had in the army.... If you have any mechanical ability, you can do this yourself. If not, sorry, but may be better to find someone who is and work with them. Remember, you don't have to use the dealer for all this stuff.....
