Default Fins on my mind. TC88

Recently I chipped a bunch of fins off my front cylinder (Harley Ultra Classic TC88). It looks really stupid now, and needs to be fixed. So....
I have a cylinder in the garage from a TC88, unknown year, and unknown if it is a front or rear. It is in super condition. Are all TC88 cylinders the same?
Year to year, front to rear left to right? It would be a nice project for me.

Up to model year '07 TC88 engines had the same cylinders. Front and rear are the same. But to replace your cylinder you need to know that the bore size of the other one is the same. You'll need new rings as well.

Actually the 96" cyls are the same as the 88". 96 is a stroked 88
