Hi, have a 06' Ultra with the 95"upgrade done by previous owner. I can not find any info on who did the upgrade. Selling dealership took bike on trade, so they have no info. Original selling dealership has some maintance info, but they did not do the upgrade. Can not get in contact with original owner.
My problem is that I have a left rear corner "weeping" on the front cylinder. It is getting worse. I removed the cylinder and the only thing I found obviously wrong was there was NO O-ring on the oil return dowel. That dowel in in the front left corner of the front cylinder. Could the oil have been migrating to the rear corner and exiting? The base O-ring was "wet" in that rear corner, but did not have any signs of being deformed or misshaped. Could the missing O-ring have been my problem? I have ridden the bike about 4000 miles before the problem showed up. Also, the upgrade had been done with cometic seals, which I am waiting on to rebuilt.
Any thoughts?
