BBB doesn't have any authority in Malaysia...(or, the moon.)

is this normal.....his boss wanted to make excuses that it is normal but I said it is not and he can do it without edge damage...
he took off the black surface in few places.....

I was super pissed and I don't know what to do it in this case....I am pretty sure every Harley owner would be pissed if this happens.....
so did this happened to you before or not?

They said they will replaster next time, but I doubt it....how can they repair the damage....
I really take care of my bike, and then this happens...
Had this happen on my J model Gsxr 750, it had perfect white rims and the *** hole didn’t use a rim protector when he did the work

I must have cost this place 1000’s as I had a lot of biker mates in Australia.

I feel your pain, Take it back and get it fixed / replaced.

I would demand a fix and once it was done that shop would never see another dime from me. Sounds like the tech needs a tune up along side his head.

I believe this is why they charge so much to change tires, incompetent employees.
I started changing my own tires years ago.

Just a guess but I'd say he's not in the states

Changing tires is just like any other mechanic work. Most anyone can do it with a little experience but being good at it is a completely different ballgame. Tire machines these day can change tires on the most expensive wheels all day and never damage them if the tech knows what he is doing and more importantly...pays attention to what he is doing I just mounted two on my EG with no damage. Most changers come with plastic inserts for the jaws to further help prevent damage. My machine is 17 yrs old and it has plastic inserts so I know the newer ones do as well.
In this day and age wheel damage is unacceptable. Sure anyone can make a mistake and scratch a wheel. I have done it and I'm sure anyone that has changed tires any amount has. But to damage both wheels is too much. If it's bothering you enough to come here and write about it, go tell the dealer you want your rims repaired or replaced. That or just live with it.

posting now...did make a video and take few shots
even though the boss is cool guy, but he still charges me a lot and i get botch job like this from his helper that should never ba allowed 1 mile near any Harley Davidson
disregard small round white dots, those were from original owner who sold me the bike and can be removed easily...cause he painted tires white or something....but that is not damage...but the edge is a real damage

Hi,
Yes, I'd be pretty upset about that damage. Also, that second photo shows a date code of 40 18, Oct 2018. So they gave you a 20 month old tyre. That's at the edge of acceptable.
