Just an FYI for anyone that might be interested.

I just got back from visiting the local Indian and Harley dealerships and found out that although the rally is officially cancelled in Fayetteville, Rogers is still doing the same **** they normally do. The Harley dealer has all their bikes under tents in the parking lots, they’re going to be jamming all next week like they always have and having a good time. I don’t know what’s going on in Eureka Springs but suspect the same. A lot going on for anyone that’s close enough to swing by.

 

The Harley and Indian demo trucks will be there as well!

I went to Lake of the ozarks bike fest today and demoed a couple HD’s, they said the same truck is going to Rogers. Demo truck had every model except the live wire, but had all the CVO’s

 

The dealer said the Demo Truck is going to be here. Was it in Sturgis also?

 

I couldn't stand the "festivities" on Dickson Street anyway. All the scum crawled out from under their rocks to panhandle, etc. The riding was also impinged upon. Lots of fools riding off the shoulder where there is no forgiveness. I ended up directing traffic three times last time I was there. I did like the free concerts though.

Now get off my lawn!

 

I can't believe it's already the end of Sep and time for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ. Sounds like it's canceled/not canceled. I might ride down on Sat. Didn't get the chance to visit AR this year and miss all the great riding down there.

 

This may be the best year to do it the more I think about it. The worst part of it has been removed - the Fayetteville ****-show. I believe the dealers will still get good traffic. Eureka Springs will probably be even better than usual because the Fayetteville festivities actually slowed things down in ES in the past. Wish I could make it. I just wrapped up vacation. Had I thought about it earlier I would have scheduled it in.

 

Cancelled Sturgis .

 

Seems odd they would cancel Sturgis but show up here. I’m glad they’re coming though.

 

Eureka Springs is gona be the place to be. We will be up there Saturday .
