Default CVO Standard bags?

Why does the 2021 CVO Road Glide in Black hole color have standard bags? The other two colors have stretch bags. The 3 Street glide CVO’s all have stretch bags. Even the lower model specials all have stretched bags. But the only one that doesn’t is that one color of CVO Road Glide.

I noticed that in the rollout... my guess is for performance look and more cornering like the king of the baggers

I think you are right on this. With the “Performance Bagger” races, I did notice that the bags were the standard, non-stretched ones. More lean angle.

I was thinking the same thing about the performance look. Also, wondered if they chose the standard bag because of the graphics.

My thought is the standard bag was chosen due to the graphics. The graphics and short bag add to the performance bagger look.

Bike looks great in person. I however would have to have the extended bags. I have gotten use to the extra space for gloves, tool kit, rain sock, sunscreen and other small crap.

Because Black is faster, and you'll scrape the bags in the corners.

That’s a deal-breaker for me.

my son calls the little wedge corner of my stretched bag the skittles storage area

there is some extra room in the stretched...... I replaced the 5x7 boom speakers with 6x9s....i was able to nix the amp in the bags, but the speakers take up a bit more space

as far as the smaller bags allowing for more of a lean angle, I am not sure I ever come close to needing that much lean
