How much are people paying or willing to pay (OTD) for the Fatboy 2021. Newbie here, any advice is much appreciated. Should I expect the OTD to be MRSP + taxes or less than MRSP or just same as MRSP.

 

It depends. No two dealers are the same. If it’s an in demand model, they may even list it higher than MSRP.

MSRP is $19,999 for Vivid Black. More for a different color option. OTD price varies from dealer to dealer between fees and taxes etc so your best bet is to shop around. Once you do that, you can get an idea of what you are willing to pay (with in reason) and go from there. Good luck with your search and welcome to the forums!

 

Where my dealer is at, its 20k MSRP, 10%ish tax, and refuse to pay extra fees.
I'd accept 22,200$ out the door or less.

 

Well, considering that IMHO they completely destroyed the look of the Fatboy with the introduction of the M8, I wouldn't pay anything for it.
and what's with that front fender? It looks like it's installed backwards. Not to mention another rear fender ruined by the Moco.

 

And the hideous Lego looking wheels and that headlight nacelle that resembles a Labrador’s ***.

 

I would say I will give you 19,500 now OTD or you can wait for someone to buy it because a dealer within a 300 mile radius of me is going to make this deal and I dont mind taking a road trip especially when there is a bike at the end of it... Then be prepared to walk if they say no. If they are smart they will make the deal. Too much competition on the internet which makes the dealer be competitive if they want a sale. It is not like the old days, the buyer has all the power now but you have to be pre prepared to say ok, then thank you for your time if they say no and walk out the door. They most likely will call you and say they changed their mind and will make that deal. They know they will make it up on the next sucker that doesnt know how to negotiate.
