I have an 07 ironhorse legend w/111 s&s cracked inner primary
which years and models can I use when looking for a GOOD used one. ?

Probably any FL style (not Dyna) should fit like OEM.
Consider a Carlini torque arm or similar to avoid a repeat.

 

Part # for inner AND outer changed in `07 when they eliminated the inspection "window" I assume this coincides with the adoption of the auto tensioner.
Your bike have a window ?

 

Eng ser # tells me 09/07 production date

The `07 Iron horse pictures I see on line have an OVAL inspection cover/inner primary used on SOFTAILS thru `06
The trapezoid window is FL`s thru 06 .
You cant use one type on the other
Does your bike have an inspection cover and if so which one ?
I suspect it`s oval

( when S&S or I.H. built the bike is not helping us help you )

 

I did run engine numbers. It was mfg 09/07

 

Top pic is SOFTAIL: flat top / oval window . inner is p/n 60630-94B
2nd pic is FL (bagger) : round top / funky window inner is p/n 60432-01

 

Think they're based on softails.
But isn't the dyna a softail looking set up ?
