I like it, but at just over 400 lbs and 115ish HP, that puts it in Yamaha MT09 or XSR900 territory. Those can be had for 9.5 and 10k new.

I like it. I was a little disappointed when they shelved it, but if they really do start making them, I think it would draw a lot of interest. I hope it will be as successful as the Pan Am and Sportster S have been.

If I was looking to buy a second bike right now, this one would definitely be on my short list. I will take one for a spin once (if) they hit the showroom floor. However, I would never replace my RKS for a bike like the Bronx, the Bronx would be my canyon carving, go fast bike, and my RKS would remain my long ride cruiser.

It is, as currently specified, a lot lighter and a little more horsepower than the BMW Nine and the BMW is about $15,500 and fugly, it still seems to sell well.

Yamaha makes great bikes. I will always pay more for US made stuff, but not double. Not to say the Bronx is all US made, I don’t know ..probably US built with outsources parts.

I see where they got some of the design from. Too bad they couldn't also copy the HP/Torque.

When people quit caring what their cruiser's engine sounds like.

Which is to say, not any time soon. We should see it in a Sportster cruiser pretty soon, maybe later this year or early next, but I don't expect it to displace the traditional Harley engine in the traditional Harley bikes any time soon.

This change of engine ruins Sportster as well. OK, it is good bike, but not the Sportster anymore.
