Did you know...
In 1995 you could buy an Electra Glide Standard for less than most Dynas?
It’s a fact. Check it out. I have this little pamphlet from HD describing all of their 1995 models.
The EGS could be had for $11995.
3 of the 4 Dynas offered that year cost between $12700 and $13650. The only Dyna that cost less than the EGS was the Super Glide at $10070.

1995 was the heyday of the rush when everybody wanted to play fantasy biker, fast stripped down club style bikes & softails were all the rage. Fat bikes hadn't come into vogue yet. That was several years years down the road yet when the middle age crazies got over 55 and comfort started looking good.

I bought a new Electra Glide Sport - predecessor of the Road King - in May, 1992, for $10,800. 4 years and 29,000 miles later sold it for $13,500 as I recall. Different times to be sure. And, yes, I had to wait in line for 2-3 months to get the '92 FLHS. Only got it after that wait because the guy who had the deposit on it changed his mind, and the salesman called me and said "I've got a new Red one here available, do you want it?", and I got in there as fast as i could!
