My pocket works very well and will keep the phone with me should I become separated from my motorcycle. Also, less likely to be distracted by yet another gadget, that way I can concentrate on dodging the distracted drivers watching their phones.

I have a Quad Lock and it's the only mount I'll ever use again. Of course you have to buy the case to make it work, but it's really worth it. I use their vehicle mount as well, and don't have a single complaint about either one.

*Edit to mention the vibration dampener, you'll definitely want to get that as with newer phones the vibrations will destroy your camera.

I used to have a Ram X mount. Now I have a SlipGrip. Love it.

I bought two of these. I had to get longer screws for my Fatboy as it has larger diameter handlebars. I’ve been very pleased with them so far.

It’s awful nice to have the map app on if you don’t know where you’re going.

I have a 2021 so, my radio is like yours. I like to use my phone for GPM, listening to my music on the phone, Sirus before I added XM, sometimes get text messages that the bike will read to me. Rarely do I take calls - but, I could.

So, when I considered a mount, I first tried to put my phone in the phone cubby. You guessed it, does not fit. Took that inside padding out, and it barely went in - but, still a little pain. Them I asked myself, self - why do you need to see the phone or have it so close.

So, I ran a cable from the cubby to my trunk. Now, I put my phone in the trunk and, it goes directly to my GTS. Just in case I need to make a switch for some reason to my wife's phone, a simple unplug and re-plug. Phone is out of the way and secure in the trunk
My ‘22 Heritage has no radio or any of the bells and whistles the touring class bike have so my cellphone is all I have which is BT connected to the Sena 5S com system in my helmet so if I ever do get separated from my bike?…as long as my helmet is still on my head it’ll be like I still have my cell with me via touch of button voice controls.

I used the QuadLock with great success and the cases are well built. When I got my new phone, Samsung S22 Ultra, the first month it came out, a case did not exist for it. The issue with QualLock is you need their case.

So now, I just use my Cardo on my helmet with my phone in my pocket or in my bag connected via USB to use the Android Auto.

FWIW Apple released info that vibrations are bad for the camera on their phones...you might want to look into a mount that absorbs vibes...as nice as the Ram and some others are they do not isolate the phone from a jarring vibration ride
