Default Anyone have a "Shriner" edition bike?

Hi,

Does anyone have a Shriner bike? I'm a Shriner, and as such, can get a Ultra for about 3K off the standard price! I would really like to get one, but unless I sold Susie (my 'Glide) I can't see it happening.[&o]

The only thing an Ultra needs is a Gear driven cam and Hydralic Primary tensioner to be maintenance free (well.....almost...[&:])

I have a Peace Officer's Special Edition, and it, as well as the Fireman's Special Edition, are registered as Shriner's bikes. I sure didn't get a 3,000 discount on it though.

Regards,

Bill

Dealer quote was 2,900 less than a vivid black Ultra. The owner of the dealership is a BIG supporter of cops/firemen/shriners!!! I saw it in print.

I bought my Firefighter Special Edition at $1,500.00 under MSRP for the same Road King in black. HD gives the dealers a discount on the Police, Firefighter and Shriner bikes. It is up to the dealer-stealer to pass on the savings. Some do and some do you.

There are a few here,...can't vouch though as I've never had the chance to meet them personally....pilot1996 i.e. Mac is a 32. There are some others who claim to have a nice ashlar...

That makes three of us that I know of...

Interesting that your dealer is cutting you the break...I wouldn't hesitate if I were you...they are worth more to some...(not that it matters what others think), simply might be able to sell it easier than others in 10 years when you decide you want th '16 model
