FLYKLR beat me to it. Yep, if they could do it, it would already have been done. LOL. Well, they can, and they did. I'd love to see one in a softail frame.

And Liquid cooled.
Man, and notice how that DOESNT affect any of you who want a traditional motor? So it would be FINE if they made a bigger engine that way, and put it in some other bikes. mostly the big tourers.
JUST AS LONG AS THEY KEPT A TADITIONAL AIRCOOLED MOTOR AVAILABLE.
Right?

I just sold my 2001 Softail Nightrain for an 06 SG. Many a mile on the interstate at 75 to 80 with no buzzing or tingling in the grips or foot pegs. To each his own but I would love to have that hard mounted B motor in a touring frame.Oh yea whenits coming down the aseembly line could you please throw on a carb and not a POS FI. Jets at 2bucks a pieceare a lot easier to work with than a 500.00 tuner.

I think if they put hard mounted B motors in a touring frame they would sale 5 to 1 over rubber mounted.

Right?
Then what is the purpose of this post? Harley already makes what the OP questioned us about.
