Actually... check your state statutes on in home delivery or sale of an item. In most states if a vender does a deal in your home, there is a 72 hour right of recinsion...

 

I agree with PapaTravis........since it's a 06, I would think you have warranty left. Two years/unlimited mileage? Unless it was built 2 years prior to now. Research the build date and ask the dealer for help. If the dealer says no.......go to another dealer. I've heard that one dealer may deny a claim while another will honor it.

 

you didn't say if the bike was used or a left over or demo .
most states have a 3 day return law ca. just got one recently you also don't say where you are so most of us are no help.

 

sportsters have noisey ticking engines. It's probably fine.

 

3 business days to back out. Better hurry.

update,fired it up this morning sounded great ran it to the dealer ship they checked it out i feel much better now!! it has very low milage and mabey there was a sticky liffter?? but all is well and my wife was all smiles as she rode off to work!!!

I bought used bike from an HD dealer and they gave me a 12 month warranty. Check if you have one.

 

haha i'll chime in about the noisy sportsters.

i've never owned one before this one...had a 750 honda that didn't make a peep...got this sporty and kept worrying that it had valve or lifter problems because of all the racket it makes.

but sportsters are just really loud, noisy engines.
