Default 5000 MILE SERVICE

What all needs to be done , looks like to me just change fluids if anybody knows what need to be done please let me know, 2007 electric glide classic thank

Yep, change fluids and oil filter. Check belt tension. Check cam chain tensioner (if equiped) and torque all critical bolts and nuts also change spark plugs (Wires too if needed). I recommend getting a copy of the maintenance manual for your bike, it has a check list with step by step instuctions. My dealer charges about 285.00 for the service and using Syn 3 I can do it myself for about 80.00 and it takes me roughly 2.5 hours to complete and that includes washing and drying the bike afterwards. So, when you figure the dealers material cost and hourly charge it works out to where the dealer isn't ripping you off, really. My dealer charges 75.00 per hour and the 5000 maintenance calls for 2.5 hours maintenance (187.50) plus materials (80.00) and tax (267.50 + 18.73= 286.33).

Sounds like you're doing a "dealer" style service. Lots more to do than just the fluids.

You can go to the HD website, enter your VIN and it will tell you the 5,000 mile service items.
