Default Spooky When All Cagers Go Nutso At Once

Jeez!Yesterday was one of those wierd events when every cager is goin nuts. Running stop signs, turns without looking, major speeding in town, cutting people off, texting, hanging ueys in the middle of a block across 4 lanes. It's happened before and the only thing to do when that mass hysteria hits is to pull off or get on the back streets. It's happened a dozen times before when they all go bonkers at the same time.

What the hell causes them to all go nuts at the same time? The pollen count; bucks in heat; alignment of the planets; stock market crash; blue light special at K-Mart; the end of days; democrats back in power? Sheesh!!!

You make a good point, but I think it merits the fact that most of us drive cages as well as sleds.

We need to keep that in mind when we get behind the wheel, as well as the handlebars!

Yeah. Quite often while driving the truck, I'll pull up along side someone else and keep looking over at them while pacing them.

Oh, the real winners are the people who will stop on the road when they have the right of way and wave someone out who is sitting at a stop sign. I think they are the same kind of person who stops at the bottom or top of a freeway on or off ramp, and look for an opening in traffic.

I know what you mean. I commute the PA turnpike on my bikeas much as weather permits and I can go weeks with no problems. Then out of nowhere I get a day where everyone seems to have left their brain at home. It usually seems to be tied tochanges in the weather like a cold snap or even a cloudy day after weeks of sun.

My solution for those bad scenarios where everyone seems to get stupid at the same time: drop down a gear or two, cover the brakes, and lay on the horns.
Dual FIAMM Freeway Blasters blaring for 3-4 seconds has a tendency to make everyone sit up & take notice. They helpunphuck even the most clouded mind...

Ahhh, Fandang, I didn't realize that, but then I didn't anticipate the hand full of spark plugs in my windshild either. You must have taught her that. 8-)
