Looking for an alternative to the ACC helmets, since the wait is over a month and the price is kinda high.

Just bought two for the wife and I. They are very light. We purchased the Harley helmets. Probably the same but we paid more. Glad to say I can't tell you if it works, but supposed to be the lightest and strongest. Hope that helps. [/align]

 

i m looking for a new helmet what type of interior do they have and what do they look like from the front when there wore? also can you put a sheild on them the one that covers the face? thanks

 

Here's what you want

 

I have one from ACC that is like the helmet in your first post. It is small and light and doesn't cause any problems when I am running down the road. It doesn't give you "mushroom head". I had a polo novelty before this one and it would catch the wind and try to pull my head off. I paid $180 for the ACC so if you can get the same thing for $80 less, I would think it would be a good deal. Also if it is DOT, it eliminates the possibility of a ticket. I was riding down the street before I got the ACC and a CHP came upbeside me and started shouting at me on his car loud speaker about me not having a DOT helmet.I just turned at the nextstreet and he did not follow me, whew!

 

I definitely want the smallest DOT helmet money can buy. I know ACC makes a killer helmet (according to what I've read on here) and it looks fantastic! But there's a 6 week wait and the price is high. I'm wondering if the helmets I linked to on eBay are similar in quality to the ACC helmets, but without the wait or cost. Does anyone know? Anyone tried these helmets from eBay?

I just called on Friday, Oct 26, and ordered a Medium Polo in natural color. It arrived today, Oct 30. I don't know about any other size, color, style, but that was great service. I haven't ridden with it yet, but I fitted it to my head with the included pads and it feels good. Just have to wait til tomorrow to find out if it rides good.

 

You ordered it from ACC directly? Holy cow, I'd buy one right now if I knew I could get it that fast.
