Better yet, if the GPS on the phone detects you going faster than human running speed but less than that of an airplane it should shut the phone off.

I agree. I was on my way to work today following behind a suv. I was about 3 car legnths behind him. he turned right and this car that was at the stop sign pulled out in front of me as the suv was about half way turned. I grabed break and looked at him while he passed. he was on a cell phone (which is illigal on base) and had a dear in the head lights look as he finally saw me. I was half tempted to turn around and follow him back to his house to give him a piece of my boot, but then i would have been late for my meating.
