What do you think about this deal?
2004 harley night train better than new vance and hines pipes, mikuni carb,95" big bore kit, handlebar riser extensions, forword control extensions, lowered 2",hi output starter very nice and very fast 12,000 obo.
It has 17000 miles on it. Is the mikuni carb stock on this bike? I thought they were FI. Is this a good thing?
Thanks for the feedback!

RE: What do you think about this deal?
A CV carb was still available on HD's until '07. Then they went bye bye. I have a '05 rk custom, and my bike has the CV carb. The mikuni is not stock.

Bought my 2004 Deuce (FI) three months ago for $12,500 with 16,600 miles. Custom forward controls, sissybar, V&H shortshots. Disregard, I see where you are looking at a Nighttrain.

It's a decent price. What exactly is the 95" big bore kit?

The 2004 twin cam engines were all 88". The 95" big bore kit increases engine displacement to 95", adding horsepower & torque, etc. The current 96" engines have available 103" and 110" kits for the same reason. More performance. I figure some riders with the 88" are more likely to get the 95" big bore kit now in order to keep up with the 96" as far as performance figures go without buying a new bike. Smart move, spending only about $650 instead of $15,000.
Sounds like a pretty decent deal, eliems. One good thing about the Mikuni carb (besides the fact that it's a pretty darn good carb) is that should the fuel delivery system break down while on the road, you've got more of a chance of fixing it yourself. EFI is more complicated, so some of the old-school riders like to stick with carb systems.

I am asking what is the 95" kit in the bike, not what is a 95" or the history onHD engines. The 95" kit in the bike could be as simple as a set of 129 buck flat top pistons and that is it or it could be an expensive combo of parts.
