Mikuni

Easy kit 42-11, sound right? 05 1200 custom. Just tired of jacking with the CV one. Big sucker intake, short shots, TTI's. Thanks for your opinions in advance.

I've got a Mikuni on my '89 and it certainly improved the bike!!
To some mechanics, they refer to the Mikuni as "bolt on power." Nuff sed!
They are easily "tune-able" and parts are available all over the place.
There are quite a few threads on here about them, so have a good butchers at them. i think that most of your questions will be answered.

You'll find that all carbs can give us problems! The Mikuni is certainly a good carb, but so also is the CV. What problems have you been having with yours?
