We're fighting over screws now???? And there's not even any snow yet...........I can't wait until we've had a couple of blizzards[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Redmond, if you're going to go with the clock/Temp.gauge.....check ebay, there are all kinds of them on there.
I fought over a screw once...but in my defense, she was pretty hot.

Man I feel your pain, I spent some hard earned money on a couple of harleys and the damn things got screws, nuts and bolts all over it, WTF should have bought a Beemer, oh wait, they also have screws and nuts and bolts all over..Bummer Whats a guy to do??[sm=boohoo.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]
Well, I do have a Bimmer but, it's a cage. Very nice one too. My other problem is if I wanted to play with the kid's on the block I would of gone to the sandbox. Why is it so hard to post a simple question here. I don't like the ****ing philips head screw looking at me and just asked for some solutions to my problem. How the **** hard is that. I am too old for all this other ****.
you don't sound to old, you come on here snivling about a little screw and acting like it is a big deal,,What you didn't see it before you bought it??? get real, you bought a Harley, we all buy them and fix that kind of stuff without going on a forum and wining and crying about it..For God sake grow up..oh, and I don't give a rats Azz what kind of car you drive, my question is Do you ride your bike, or just wash and wax??? now go play in the sandbox with the other kids..[sm=boohoo.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Seeing you’re a newbie I will forgive your ignorance this time. You might want to chose you words more wisely in the future.
And BTW HD is not cheep. My HD cost 28K and 5K in extras, for that much money somebody could buy the Honda factory including the building.

Did you buy the bike new and it came like that? That isn`t very professional looking from the moco. They could of at least left the fins all the way and drilled the hole with a countersink and matching screw so it could be flush.Toby
Brand new off the showroom floor. I think they could of done a better job in that area also. Did they get rid of it on the 08's. It must of been something new for the 07's.
Just ran downstairs to the garage to check my 08--there's nothing in that spot at all; the console is clean from the speedo on back. I can't believe yours rolled off the assembly line with that washer and screw on it.

yup, console is clean on the '08's. Just went to the w-site and took a look.

Man, I love how you can zoom in, click and drag etc and really check the whole bike out.

Anyhow, apparantly someone at HD must have thought the same as you Redmond, as it's definately gone now.

So; as I showed above, .....fix the problem for $19.95 Done.
