I will never do business with these clowns again, and I just wanted to share with others, and potentially save someone else from an even costlier problem.
Did you use your credit card to make the purchase? If so, contact the credit card company and dispute the charges. Explain what happened, they usually side with the card holder.

I for one would like to know when the title of this thread changed from "Bad dealers" to "Bad aftermarket parts companies".

What's the big deal? He is communicating a bad experience he had with a parts company related to his motorcycle? Should we create an entirely new forum for bad experiences with every type of retail or parts establishment? Lighten up dude!

I believe your reply should be directed at post #2862 instead of Lone Cabbage.

Default BAYSIDE Harley

Bayside Harley Portsmouth VA
contacted the dealer from my home in NJ and went through negotiations and set a “deal” with sales guy and finance manager. Set up bike add ons and finance rates. Sent a deposit on bike, now I told them a family members credit card would be down payment and they will be in Ni, no problem. I drive down 6.5 hours and have to go over parts line by line as they totally messed up part numbers. Get that straight and waiting for finance papers, dealer said we can no longer take your CC for down payment we had a new General Manager start today and he won’t honor what we discussed, but you can get a H-D card or we can go zero down and add 2% to your loan.
needless to say I walked from deal as it was not the “deal” we made. I only quote deal because sales guy kept saying if we get the price or interest rate do we have a “deal” so they can make a deal ... just not keep a deal
