Deadly Motorcycle Crash Caused by Speeding, Special Fuel - Not only was a motorcyclist speeding just before his fatal crash during a police chase Monday night, New Tazewell police say he had high flammable fuel in his tank.

The higher the octane, the higher the ignition point. Duh. The fuel in no way increased any danger.

Are you sure it didn't increase the danger? If it has a higher ignition point, wouldn't it burn at a higher temp?
