Spike, no offence intended but a "real seat" might be the best money spent to protect your compressed disc/back. Just a thought, I know your custom looks really cool, yet if your back is really a problem, you might want to change it out.

Hey Curt J, I know what you're saying about the seat, but I rarely ride very far on that seat. I have a C&C Sport Tour seat for taking trips, and I just ordered a Corbin solo off of ebay that I look forward to checking out. I hadn't planned on buying the Corbin, but the deal was just too good ($150 brand new). When I get the time, I'm gonna make myself a new custom barhopping one thatwill provide just a bit more support. Since 90% of my driving is in town, Iusually only rideabout 20-30 miles at a time. My biggest problem is just hitting huge potholes and going over old bumpy railroad crossings. I think the Progressives should help some with that.
