Looking to get a good topic going on everything that can be done handling wise on a Dyna. There doesn't seem to be anything definitive about it that I've found yet.

Tires (type and size)
Geometry (Rake and trail)
Where to start, biggest bang for the buck, what's hardly worth it, ect.
I know these aren't sport bikes, but I see no reason why we can't make them handle better if we want to do so. A Harley I can flick with my hips sounds like the ultimate bike to me.
The biggest change I've personally experience on any of my last bikes is changing the rear suspension geometry. A taller rear tire improved how quick the bike was to lean (but also messed with the speedometer), but shorter dog-bones made the biggest difference, basically getting your tail up higher. I'd say on the SV650 I did it to it made a 20-25% improvement in how easily it wanted to dive into a corner or be flicked. On a Harley I would assume putting on longer rear shocks would have this effect.
I've also noticed on my LR-S that I can have a pretty strong improvement in how the bike handles by how I sit on the bike. If I lean over the tank, keeping my back straight, I can flick the bike easier with my hips. However the bike isn't set up for this so maintaining that seated position for long doesn't happen.
Pegs under you make moving it way easier than in front of you.
Wide tires do effect how eager it is to lean, but they also seem to work much better on powerful bikes in power delivery. Plus they look cool... so there's that.
Brake pads make a huge difference. I threw Sinister HH pads on my last bike, night and day in my opinion. Stainless brake lines are also supposed to help since they don't flex the same, but I haven't done this personally.
Just my experience with it. Looking forward to learning a lot more as I'd like to get more out of my bike.
And yes. It's a Harley, not a sportsbike. But that's like saying I can't try to up the power on a Ninja 250 with a couple mods, lol.
Me personally, i'd put # 7 up towards the top. At least on my wide glide.
I also realize you haven't ran your rig since your bad crash, but I have done dam near everything you have listed, and Ohlins front and rear made a HUGE difference in my glide.
