I totally understand that.

But after thrashing a FXR, I need that in my life. My Dyna is ok, but the FXR is on another level IMO.

Will do. Trying to iron out paint now. Hopefully have everything wrapped up in a month or two. If you want to know how to multiply the cost of a motorcycle, just ask😬

Bicycle shops that cater to high end cyclists offer frame and wheel alignment.

Would seem like something that should be done once or twice a year.

Unless I'm mistaken nobody's mentioned a true track or sputhe engine stabiliser as an improvement for handling. I'm looking into getting one of these

Think we need to get a collection of common problems and solutions to them.

Like say the front end diving when braking hard. Front springs eh?

True Track or Predator VCS is an absolute must first and foremost. Then I’d move to suspension.

I stand corrected. Thanks for your input. I agree that stabilising the rear to prevent sideways movement of the engine has to be one of the most important changes to consider.

Been there; done that years ago. Glad to see there’s still some enthusiasm (&$) chasing better handling on the Dyna chassis. I had Sputhe mounts & aluminum swingarm, Excell aluminum rims, Lyndal composite rotors and an Italian fork brace (beautiful piece that didn’t look like a giant bone). Throw on some Battleaxe tires by Bridgestone, set up the stock suspension and it truly was a wonderful ride. The motor had a mere 117ft lbs...
It all worked well together and was all done at once.

Nice. Those rotors are no longer available. I called everybody on the planet looking for some.
