Default Biker Bob's online order...What to do?

Well, I posted on here a couple of weeks ago asking about Biker Bob's. Several people said that they had no problems with them, so I went ahead and ordered the auxillary light kit and lights from them. $314 total, including shipping within 7-10 business days. Got the order confirmation number in email and credit card was charged for the amount. Today is the tenth business day and I checked the order status and it says pending. Called Biker Bob's to ask about it and was told that the online ordering was done "outside" and they couldn't tell me anything or give me a number to talk to anyone. Email was the ONLY way they could communicate. Sent an email inquiring of the status. (don't mind waiting past the time stated, but never recieved an email stating parts were not in stock). They replied saying waiting on parts. I asked when they were expected and why wasn't I notified. They replied that their system is supposed to notifiy me (didn't) and did I want to continue to wait (never answered when parts are expected) or cancel the order.

So, what should I do? Wait or cancel. The manager at BB's is checking on it, but basically gave me the same song and dance. I will tell you this...........I won't order from them again. No way to check inventory and lack of feedback on parts status.

That's what I'm leaning toward. The order would have saved me at least $50. But hell, I can't wait forever.

+1 - Why would you give them your money?? Cancel, and let "BOB" know why. There are too many good parts houses around that give great customer service. Good luck.

Just emailed them and cancelled my order. Here's my what I sent them.........

Screw it. Since you can't seem to answer the questions asked concerning the status of the parts, cancel the order completely. I can get the parts from other online stores for just as cheap and better service. I am on several Harley websites and will be letting everyone on those sites know about the crappy service, complexity of communication and lack of attention to questions regarding order status. It probably won't hurt your business, but I will never order from you again.
