Default Richmond VA area dealers

I live near Richmond and we have three dealers located very close to us. How did you guys that have several dealers close to you decide on what one to buy your bike from?

I have been in two of the three and really dont know if there is a real difference. Both seem great. Would you just go to the closest one? One is near my house and one near work ,and the other is about 40 minutes away.

I suppose I'd buy from the one with the lowest price on the bike I wanted....but that's just me...

When your ready, go to each and tell them your buying your bike today, and see which one gives you the best price. You would be surprised sometimes how much they will come down...Be sure to tell them you are going to the other dealers to get a price there as well.

I would be willing to pay a little more for good service after all the nightmare stories I have read on here. But thats just me.

Hey - talk to a couple of Harley riders - they will tell where the best service department is - sometimes is isn't the best price...but that is just me...

When I purchased I tried to buy at the closest dealer. Things didn't work out... I went with the dealer who gave me the best deal, had the bike I wanted and seemed to really want my business.

All I can tell you is that I have purchased 3 bikes from Waugh HD in Orange, they are stright up, No mark up on there bikes and the service has always gone out of there way to take care of me and make sure that I was happy with their work. You can't ask for more than that.

I'll echo what Sarg said- we have three bikes from Waugh's, and they are great to deal with.
