I just paid 280 for the speedo which is genuine Harley Davidson . Then I look at the bracket & its all rusted from previous speedo that was leaking so I called Harley 120 for the bracket so i get out my vtwin mfg catalog & find exact same one for 37 so i am really considering it because its chrome & my bike is all black & chrome it comes with the bracket & back so I was just wondering if anyone has tried vtwin parts is says in the book it will fit so I ordered it & the place I ordered it from said ids like rolling the dice yuou never know so i was curious am i just throwing my $$$ away.........julz883

I have a 2006 Sportster I need the bracket for the speedo It is going to take 2 more weeks to get my Harley bracket & cost about 70 more $$$ I have already waited for 2 weeks for the speedo I am getting very impatient on these 80 degrees days the nearest speedo is in San Antonio Texas I called the nearest dealership & they said it would take 2 weeks. So i ordered the 1 from Vtwin I have nothing but Harley everything else but the bracket that was on it was original & is all rusted from previous speedometer leaking so I am just curious if anyone else has used vtwin parts from vtwin mfg. julz883
