Road King Custom, I like the looks better than the classic or standard and Harley dropped them from their line this year so there will be less of them out there.
I like the pull back bars on the custom, I am hopeing to find one for my RK. It fits me alot better than the stock RK Classic bars.
Even new a set of Road King Custom bars should only cost around $80/$90. Although a lot of people took them off ( a lot of people found them to be too close together, that was the first thingI changed on this bike) their Customs, so it should be easy to find a used set on eBay.

I was undecided for a long time between the two. This Friday I go order my standard. I'm planning on making it into something of a modern day Duo-Glide and I think the standard is a more suitable starting point.

I went with a Standard mainly because of the cast wheels and the wider passenger seat on the '07's. Cruise control would be nice, but I don't do a lot of riding where I could use it. With that being said (or typed), had I found a Classic that was in the custom color, Jake and Elwood Blue, I would have bought that over my Black Pearl Standard.

Go Classic, fo' sho'! Hard bags make you look like one of the EG/SG/RG pukes. Stand out, be an individual, join the RKC secret society.

I liked the classic, that is why i bought it. I don't like the fact that you need to buy aftermarket locks.

Hey UPS, I put the 518's on....best mod I did on the bike, very nice and very comfortable. The 508's are nice, but like the stock Custom bars, they are way too close together, so you end up with a wheel barrel effect (on the other hand, if you can handle that, they do make you sit back even further than the 518's do)
