Went to Mike's Famous HD in Groton, Ct today... they had a 2008 Screaming Eagle Ultra... for $42,999 WTF!?!?!?! Are these idiots living in the same country as the rest of us???

By the way I am back on a horse!!!!! Got my Triumph running again...Now Im looking for a new project... hmmm maybe on old HD???

Wow...that's so insane, it sounds like Canadian MSRPs!! I didn't realize Bill Gates rode Harleys.

 

Betcha it's sold within the month ... if not already sold to someone who will pick it up in the next week. That kind of price makes the rest of us feel good about spending $20k on a RK or Heritage.

 

They seem to only be famous for high pricing.

Well it depends what is on it. You can easily spend $42,000 . But that would be totally finished. Doesn't sound to high to me. I am almost up to $30,000 with my Street Glide so far!!

 

It sure does, but Canadian MSRPs for SE Ultras aren't even that high now.

Mike's marks up the price on EVERY bike they sell. I can't figure out how they sell bikes unless they only getding-a-lings as customers. You could go anywhere else and buy ANY Harley for less. Bizarre.

 

Sounds people up there have lotsa cash on hand if this guy can mark up prices and still sell bikes and stay in business..... as a business teacher once told me ... charge whatever the market will bear.
