Kuryakyn parts durability
I am looking to upgrade my grips and pegs with some Kuryakyn brand components. I noticed they sell replacement rubber pieces for both their grips and pegs and it made me wonder how soft is the rubber and how quickly does it deteriorate?
Let me know how many miles you have been riding with your Kuryakyn brand pegs/grips and how often you have to replace the rubber pieces. I'm curious if every year you need new rubber or if these things last alot longer than that.

I have the ISO grips and some highway pegs from Kury. Almost 30,000 miles and everything looks great. No chrome pits or flakes. No rubber deterioration.

I had a set of their adjustable offset highway pegs a few years ago. They cracked around the holes where the allen bolt went through them. Examining them, it looked like the metal was a very poor quality casting. They did look good, but I had no luck with the dealer in returning them. ( one week old). Have since heard of various issues and very poor customer service from Kury concerning warranty. These issues have been discused a lot on here.

I have theur ISO grips (no problem). then I bought their ISO boards two years and they are bubbling up from under the chrome! they didn't even want to see a picture of them! I also have their hypercharger that is pitting on the butterfly (the rest of the unit is OK. I don't think I'll ever buy from them again.-Eric

I had the Switchblade pegs on a different bike I had. I liked the idea, but they would never stay in the position that I wanted. They kept rotating downward when I would rest my heel on the "blade" no matter how much I would tighten the screw. I liked the comfort factor, but the continuous adjustments were a headache to me.

ISO grips are all I have. Pretty comfy and look good. But Ill be switching to apes in the future and HD grips will be going on.

Been using Kury products for going on ten years. Only once had a marginal chrome job on a foot peg. Great products overall in my experience.
