I could not fit anymore in. I tried to stop at $18.50 but went to $18.51. I tried to stop at $19.00 but again stopped at $19.02. last try $19.50 and went over again. the girl at the station gave me 2 cents for effort and gave me 2 quarters in change.

I remember the first time I went to $10 putting gas in a bike and thought that was bad. Next year it might be $30. Depressing....... [:'(]

 

And I thought that the $11.50 worth of gas was high. You must have been running on fumes by the time you filled the tank.

 

I think I had about a cup full in it. I had taken drained and taken off the tank to put on new bars. when I drained the tank i mixxed the gas with old gas for the mower. I did not want to put much back in the bike from the can, just in case.

 

We stopped in Interior, SD for the night at the BadlandsKOA on our way to Sturgis one year. I rode into town and gassed up...my bud didn't. Took an early ride thru the Badlands the next morn...and on over to Wall. On that last hill, I watched my bud up ahead as he weaved side to side. I thought to myself...now there's a happy rider. Found out at the gas pumps that his bike ran outta gas and he was sloshin 'round what little was left, tryin for a re-start. Fired up just enuf to top the hill...he coasted downhill to the pumps...took 4.983 gallons in a five-gallon tank. Lucky SOB is always pushin his luck with one thing or 'nuther.

 

I put $73.45 in my little Dodge 1500 yesterday and it had 1/4 tank of gasoline to start with. [:@] Surely am glad I got a couple of Harleys forMOST of my going!

This week itwas 45 Dollar (30 Euros) for one filling a stock Softail Tank in Germany. And it will get worse and worse and worse

Gas has gone up 32% in the last year in England, we pay about 72% tax on gas . My RG takes $40 once the low fuel light comes on. Can't remember the last time I filled my Lexus

 

My boy is stationed over there,Hidledurg,he has a Chevy Silverado 4x4 that he wants to ship over there.Trying to talk him into just buying an old beater and sell it before he comes back home!
