2008 Heritage Idling Problem
I just bought my first fuel injected bike about a month ago. \\; I have had problems with bike idling high when I stop at lights or when I \\;clutch it riding thru a crowd at the local bike meet's or parking lots. \\; Of course, it only does this when folks are around looking and listening. \\; Bike has around 600 miles on it. \\; I had dealer put rush slip-ons and aftermarket breather along with download. \\; It sounds worse than any Honda or Yamaha when it idles itself up. \\; Folks probably think I'm riding a Heritage look alike. \\; It sounds that bad. \\; I was wondering if anyone else might have had this problem at sometime. \\; I have only run 93 octane in it and have cycled ignition switch as dealer told me and I read on forum. \\; Any advice would be appreciated.

Take it back to the dealer if it's idling too high. \\; You shouldn't have had the dealership do it. \\; For one you pay too much and second they can't violate the EPA rules so you're stage one sounds no louder then the stock pipes.  \\;  \\;

RE: 2008 Heritage Idling Problem
Thanks, I had \\;worked out some deals with dealer about aftermarket things that's why I had them install parts. \\; I usually do all my work myself but with this one being a F.I. I was kind of lost. \\; I'm taking it to the dealer for the 1000 mile service, I was just wondering if anyone experianced this problem with there F.I.
