Unless you're handicapped, you should be able to lift your bike yourself if you know how. I suggest you purchase the "Ride Like a Pro" dvd. It was the best single input teaching me how to master my bike. It also show the proper way to pick up any bike by backing up to the bike and lifting it using your legs.

No, not that bad, but Welcome to the "Ah Chit" Club.
My very first Ah Chit happened in Norfolk, Va. Trying to impress 3 young ladies at the DQ. Small bit of rain, some doughhead rode my scoot into the middle of the lane (oil), and I proceeded to accelerate right into a dump.
Bad, you say? Not as bad as having the left footpeg, inside the arch of your boot, and you have to ask the 3 young ladies to pick the bike up slightly, to retrieve your foot, so you can get up to pick the scoot up. Blanket? No need, I could've hid under a cigarette butt.

TwiggyAZ, since I do not have the azzless chaps, fingerless gloves, a do rag, HD T-Shirt and there was no Goldwing around, what do you mean it doesn't count? Still went down. Just wondering.
