I vote for "Other".

I/E;

Not considering selling any of my Harley's and the current economy has little impact on my current lifestyle or standard of living....

I'm considering selling it, but not for economic reasons.
I had an accident back in June and the bike is still in the shop, they claim to be waiting on parts.
There are Kawasaki and Honda dealers closer to us and they provide good service for our other bikes. At this point in time this may be the last Harley parked in our garage.

(QUOTE) "Not considering selling any of my Harley's and the current economy has little impact on my current lifestyle or standard of living...."(UNQUOTE)

So you didn't fall under the category "My ECONOMIC situation is stable, good job, money in the bank!" OR "I'm not considering selling my H-D"?

Maybe I should have had the option "other".........
but then we couldn't share what "other" really meant unless people commented on their situation............

I'm just trying to make myself feel better, I guess, by knowing that I'm not ALONE in this FINANCIAL MESS!

And I don't blame all this crap on one person... I'm pretty much pissed at 99% of our politicians who are "outta touch" and don't have a clue what the average AMERICAN is going thru right now.

And further more (I'm on a "roll"), I don't really see concrete evidence from either guy on how to get us out of this quagmire.......

Are these two guys the BEST this country has to offer??????
I think we're in for a LOOOONG ride!!!!

A very last resort. I worked so hard to get one and get it the way I want it.

I worked too long and hard to get it as well, and would use it to get back and forth to work rather than the truck. If I were in dire straits, I would sell one of the other vehicles. Fortunately I have a job that requires me to travel. If I dont fly and rent a car, I try to take the motorcycle. I dont really need my truck since my wife has a car for when I am home. Just a matter of convenience and a waste of money. Maybe I should sell the truck and bank the money

For me, I could never sell. It is to much part of my life. I am a member of a MC, all my friends ride 3-4 days a week, and we sponsor our own bike night at a local hang out. You cant drive a car on a group ride or drive a car to your own biker night.

I'm doing okay. I have always pretty much lived within my means. I am in the military so the job security is there. If I want toys (harley, vette, etc) I work second jobs and pay cash. This way I don't have to touch savings or any retirement accounts.
