My New Fulmer Lid
So i came home for the weekend from college and i got here yesterday and my dad had this absolutley mint Arthur Fulmer lid waitin for me. I can't believe the shape it is in, absolutley perfect, still has the the "large" sticker on it. and o ya, he got it for 5 bucks at a garage sale. Damn i love garage sales.

i'm not sure on the build date. Do u know if it is stamped inside or a sticker?? There is a sticker inside that says 1971 but i'm thinkin there has got to something stamped with a month and year but i can't find it.

The newer lids have a patch with the build date sewn into the inside liner. I'm not sure about the older ones, as I usually throw them away after ten years or so. I'd be careful using it as a helmet if it really was thirty-eight years old. They get old and brittle and lose their effectiveness.
