Well, we had ABS on the BMW´s we owned before the Harleys and yet we don´t miss it. But I guess it´s the same like an airbag in a car. You only figure out, if it´s worth when you really need it !

I think it is really cheap insurance. Only has to work once in the life of the bike to pay for itself. I had to stop suddenly last summer on a wet road and I don't know if I would have remained upright without the abs.
I have ABS and think it will be the norm rather than the exception down the road on many bikes. I figure if it saves my butt once, it was well worth it.
Wish I could've gotten it on my Heritage. ABS can make the difference between going home to the wife and kids at the end of your ride or not going home, so, YES, I think it's worth it.
